Working with watches has been a lifelong passion. As a teenager I got my first job after a period of work experience with a local jeweller. I’d go in after school and change their watch batteries, adjust watch bracelets and so on. Little did I know that was the beginning of my career in the trade.
I’ve worked for independent watch repair workshops and trained with the British Horological Institute (BHI) – one of the world’s leading Horological education providers, training people in the craft for over 150 years.
With the BHI I sat various exams, winning multiple prizes for watch servicing and repair in the process. I am an Accredited Member of the BHI.
I am a member of the British Watch & Clockmakers’ Guild – the representative organisation for professional horologists in Britain. I am also a club Member of the Alliance of British Watch & Clock Makers – the official trade body for the sector.
